I'm Brian a junior here at Cortland from Long Island, NY. I'm pretty far behind the curve as far as the major goes, but I'm going to keep on keepin' on.
Really interesting article. I think it's really cool that we are using the power of the media to overcome some of the big corporations that consume us. I'd love to see the comeback of small businesses because I feel like everything would be more genuine. Things are getting out of control: just a few rich men own the world, and the monopolies they have are suffocating any real creativity or genuineness we have. Especially in the music industry. The worst thing ever is for an underground band you've loved forever to go mainstream and every little teeniebopper be listening to it and wreck it for the true fans (sorry for the rant!).

Anyway, have you listened to the band, Black Lab?
A "viral social media experiment," wow!!
Does anybody remember the innocence of "love, love me do," when we all thought the Beatles were all that when they were on the Ed Sullivan show.
Pre-flat world...
